Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using VerbScribe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

Early Access / Beta Notice

VerbScribe is currently in active development and early access phase.

By using VerbScribe during this period, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Features may change: Features, functionality, and user interface may be modified, added, or removed without prior notice
  • Service provided "as-is": The service is provided for early adopters to test and provide feedback
  • Not for critical operations: You should not rely solely on this service for business-critical or mission-critical operations
  • Data backup recommended: We recommend maintaining your own backups of important data and transcriptions
  • Pricing may change: Premium pricing and feature tiers may be adjusted as we gather usage data and feedback

Use License

Permission is granted to use VerbScribe for personal or commercial purposes under the following conditions:

  • You must maintain your account credentials securely
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must not use the service for illegal activities
  • You must not attempt to breach security or authentication measures
  • You must not interfere with the proper functioning of the service

Subscription Plans

VerbScribe offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features require a paid subscription:

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on your selection
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time
  • Refunds are provided within 30 days of purchase for annual plans
  • Usage limits apply to free tier accounts
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice

User Content

You retain all rights to your transcriptions, documents, and content created using VerbScribe. By using our service:

  • You grant us permission to process your content to provide the service
  • You are responsible for backing up your important data
  • We do not claim ownership of your content
  • You must not upload content that violates others' intellectual property rights

AI Services and Accuracy

VerbScribe uses AI technology for transcription and text transformation. Please note:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content
  • We do not guarantee 100% accuracy in transcriptions or transformations
  • The quality of results depends on audio quality, language, and other factors

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice
  • Make emergency updates to address security or technical issues
  • Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice

Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERBSCRIBE, ITS DEVELOPERS, OWNERS, OPERATORS, AND AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY, "WE" OR "US") SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Costs of procurement of substitute services
  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to or use of our servers or data
  • Any damages resulting from bugs, errors, or interruptions in service
  • Any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service
  • Any damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content or transcriptions
  • Any damages resulting from misuse of the service by users or third parties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that the results obtained from use of the service will be accurate, reliable, or meet your requirements.

User Responsibility and Indemnification

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:

  • You are solely responsible for your use of the service and any content you create, upload, or process using the service
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with all applicable laws and regulations
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account
  • You will not use the service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose
  • You will not attempt to breach, circumvent, or interfere with the security or functionality of the service
  • You will not use the service to transmit, store, or process any content that violates the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
  • You will not use the service to create, transmit, or distribute any content that is defamatory, harassing, abusive, or otherwise objectionable

YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS VERBSCRIBE, ITS DEVELOPERS, OWNERS, OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, OBLIGATIONS, LOSSES, LIABILITIES, COSTS, AND EXPENSES (INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEYS' FEES) ARISING FROM:

  • Your use of or access to the service
  • Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Any content you submit, post, transmit, or make available through the service
  • Any misuse of the service by you or any third party using your account

No Responsibility for Misuse

VERBSCRIBE AND ITS DEVELOPERS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR:

  • Any misuse of the service by users, including but not limited to use for illegal activities, fraud, harassment, or violation of third-party rights
  • Any content created, processed, or transmitted by users through the service, regardless of whether such content violates applicable laws or the rights of others
  • Any consequences resulting from users' reliance on AI-generated content or transcriptions
  • Any damages or losses resulting from unauthorized access to user accounts or data, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct
  • Any third-party claims arising from users' use of the service, including but not limited to claims of copyright infringement, defamation, or privacy violations
  • Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in transcriptions or AI-generated content

By using the service, you acknowledge that VerbScribe is a tool provided for your use, and you assume full responsibility for how you use it and any consequences that may result from such use.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
